AUTUMN DAYS

Hello Crafters! Here is a Christmas card made with the stampset Autumn Days (#115452). This is a beautiful set for Autumn but can also be used for Christmas and I've even used it for masculine cards. The card is Crumb Cake c/s layered with Deck the Halls dsp from the Holiday Mini and a piece of Cherry Cobbler c/s that was first embossed with the Petals a Plenty embossing folder and the Big Shot. All of the stamping is done on Very Vanilla c/s using Always Artichoke and Chery Cobbler classic inks. The sentiment is from the All Holidays (#114916) stamp set and the ribbon is Very Vanilla taffeta. How do you like that big Always Artichoke button? It's from the new Big Designer button set, Deck the Halls from the Holiday Mini...ooh ooh I love these buttons! Thanks for visiting!

BLUSH BLOSSOM

Hello Crafters! I am really into fall cards right now but I thought I'd put those colors aside for this project. I used Blush Blossom c/s for the card and layering along with Very Vanilla c/s. I also layered with Blush Blossom dsp from our Patterns DSP Paper Pack In-color. I used the For All You Do (#115360) stampset. I stamped the flower with Very Vanilla craft ink then used a Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker to outline the flower, I used Chocolate Chip classic ink to stamp the stem. I applied Fine Cosmo Celery glitter (#108796) to the flower centers using the Two Way Glue Pen. The sentiment is stamped with the Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370) stampset then punched with the 1 3/4" x 7/8" Oval Large punch, it's all pulled together with Certain Celery 5/8" satin ribbon. Thanks for visiting!

The sentiment is from the Falling Leaves (#115368) stampset which is stamped with Early Espresso classic ink. Thanks for visiting!

JUST BELIEVE

Hey Crafters! So this is a project that although I do like it I'm not totally happy with one aspect of it. I used the Just Believe (#116948) stamp set to stamp on Newsprint dsp, bit I thought the print on the dsp was a little dark so I used sandpaper to try to lighten up a little. Okay, so this is what I'm not quite happy with. Although it somewhat did what I wanted, the effect was not quite what I expected. Maybe I rubbed too hard in some areas. Well I didn't hate it so I decided to continue and see if I liked the end result, which I do actually. I used Marina Mist c/s for the card layered with Night of Navy c/s and the Nedwsprint dsp. I used Marina Mist and Old Olive classic inks. Isn't this a beautiful stamp set? The 5/8" grosgrain ribbon is also Marina Mist. Thanks for visiting!

GREAT FRIEND

Hello Crafters! Today's project share is a card we created in my Sunrise & Stamps class. I hold this class once a month from 8am to Noon; we create, have a Continental breakfast and just plain ol' have fun! I used the Great Friend (#113792) stamp set on Crumb Cake c/s using VersaMark. I added a piece of Baja Breeze c/s strip and punched Pretty in Pink c/s with the Curly Label punch, I added a couple of rhinestones from our Basic Rhinestones to the punched piece. The sentiment is from the same stamp set; lastly I used the Color Spritzer Tool with the Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker to add a cool spattered look. Thanks for visiting.

TREE TRIMMINGS

Hello Crafters! This is one of those projects that came out NOTHING like the vision that was in my mind! Don't get me wrong, I do like the completed results but I didn't expect it to have such a "20's" vibe. That's what it reminds me of, the 1920's, not sure why but it just does. I used Riding Hood Red c/s for the card and layered with Love Letter and Newsprint dsp. I sponged the edges of both with Riding Hood Red classic ink then stamped the ornaments from the Tree Trimmings stampset (#116722) also using Riding Hood Red classic ink. The embellishment was made using the new Waffle Paper (#120984) from the Holiday Mini and a brad from Antique Brads (#117273). Thanks for visiting!

BRIGHT BLESSINGS

Hey Crafters! I got one of my jumbo wheels out for this project; the wheel is Bright Blessings (#115626). I used Cajun Craze c/s for the card, layered with More Mustard and Whisper White c/s. I used the Cajun Craze classic ink on the wheel and added Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. I also used the Bright Blessings wheel for the sentiment. I first inked the wheel with Early Espresso classic ink then I removed the Early Espresso ink from the word "gratitude" and used the Stampin' Write More Mustard Marker to change the color so it would stand out. I punched it out with the Extra Large Oval punch, and also added a punch from Cajun Craze and Garden Green c/s. Lastly I used the Color Spritzer tool and Early Espresso Stampin' Write marker to add some "spritz". Thanks for visiting!

CHRISTMAS TAGS

Hi Crafters! I spent some time playing with product from the Holiday Mini and using the mini for inspiration on the two tags I'm posting here. I used Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler c/s, to create the tags; I layered the Cherry Cobbler tag with Very Vanilla c/s. I stamped them with the Christmas Collage (#121279) background stamp with Soft Suede classic ink; and then layered them with Deck the Halls (#120810)dsp also from the mini. What do you think of the gold and silver paper on each? This is our new Waffle Paper (#120984). This textured paper is ideal for adding dimension to your projects! I used the new Glass Glitter (#120995) on the tag below and our Antique Brads on both tags along with the new Crochet Ribbon. And check out that button! Its from our new BIG Designer Buttons, this one is from the Deck the Halls set (#121002). Each set contains 48 buttons total and four different colors. Thanks for visiting!

LOVELY AS A TREE

Hello Crafters! It's Friday and I'm looking forward to a weekend of working on techniques; if they come out I'll post my completed projects. If they don't, I won't speak of it again! LOL For this project I used the Lovely As A Tree stampset (#115026). I love this set and it works for all seasons, I will show a great winter project with this set soon. The card is Peach Parfait c/s layered with Soft Suede c/s and a piece of Peach Parfait dsp from the In Color Level One paper pack hostess set. The image was stamped with VersaMark then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then sponged Soft Suede all around and on the stamped image, after it was done I used a dry papertowel to rub as much ink as I could off of the stamped image. Isn't this a cool look? I added Soft Suede retired ribbon which I then added 3 pearls tied with linen thread just to give it a little something different. Thanks for visiting!

FALL LEAVES

Hey Crafters! Today I'd like to share my first Fall card. When I saw this stamp set in the Holiday Mini I just knew I had to have it! Isn't it great? It's called French Foliage (#120845). The card is Cajun Craze c/s which I stamped with this stamp set and Cajun Craze classic ink. I then stamped a layer of Very Vanilla c/s using Always Artichoke, More Mustard and Cajun Craze classic inks. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (#115370). How do you like that ribbon? I just use our 3/8" Twill Tape and stamped it with an image from the French Foliage stamp set using Cajun Craze classic ink; it's nothing fancy but it just works on this card, don't you think? Thanks for visiting!

Miss You Mother

Hello Crafters! I hope you'll excuse some sentimentality in this post. My mother passed away October of 2005 and today would have been her 80th birthday. Of course I've been thinking about her all day so thought I would post a little note of rememberance. My mother was a single parent of 6 kids, not the norm in the early 60's; I'm still amazed she got through it without having to murder one of us! LOL! We didn't have much but we had each other and we had our mother's love, something we didn't doubt for one minute. My mother loved Christmas so I'm going to share a Christmas card I made after receiving some goodies from the Holiday Mini! Thanks for visiting!

FALL CARD

Hey Crafters! I am working on projects for fall/Thanksgiving and Christmas and enjoying every minute of it. I used the Fall Harvest (#112478) standard wheel on this card. I wheeled a 5x5 piece of Whisper White c/s with More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Chip classic inks; I then ran that through the Big Shot with the Top Note die. I really like the effect. The card is Always Artichoke c/s layered with More Mustard c/s. The sentiment is stamped with Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370) stamp set. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip satin and the button from Playground, both retired now but working perfectly for this card. Thanks for visiting!
