FANCY FAVOR TREAT BOX

Hello Crafters! I hope you had a wonderful, blessed Thanksgiving! As for me, this is the first time ever that my turkey was NOT cooked by the time we sat down to eat! I don't know what happened! Our daughter was due to be home from work by 4pm so we planned dinner for 5pm; based on the weight of the turkey and the instructions on my roaster oven I calculated (AH-HAH! So THERE'S the problem! lol) the time required to cook the turkey and by 5 it still needed a couple of more hours! Thank God we had the ham my daughter cooked plus all the fixin's were done so we ate...I turned off the turkey, put it in the refrigerator a little later then completed cooking it the NEXT day! I hope your dinner preparations were less stressful than mine!

Today's share is a simple creation using the Big Shot. The box was made with the Fancy Favor (my FAV) die which I cut then ran back through the Big Shot with the Northern Flurry embossing folder available in the Holiday Mini. I completed the project with a handle using Silver Tinsel Trim from the Holiday Mini. Thanks for visiting!

LAST FALL CARD

Hello Crafters! Today's card share is my last fall posting, I am now working on Christmas cards, gift card holders and stocking stuffers. This card is not technically challenging but I like the simplicity of it. The two stampsets used are Lovely as a Tree #115026) (look for more use of this one with my Christmas projects!) and Thankful For (#120788). Cardsock used is Crumb Cake and Whisper White, I also used Rich Razzleberry dsp from the Brights Patterns Paper dsp pack. Not sure if you can tell but on the stamped acorn/leaf images I used Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and More Mustard Stampin' Write Markers coloring directly on the rubber stamp, it came out pretty cool. The sentiment is stamped using Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink. I completed the project with a new Old Olive Glimmer Brad from the Brights Glimmer Brads (#121006) in the Holiday Mini. Thanks for visiting!

FALL BANNER

Hi Crafters! Let me begin by apologizing for the pictures of this project. I tried and tried to get better pictures but I couldn't and I really wanted to share the project with you. I have been wanting to make a fall banner since our October Stampin' Success magazine came out, of course I tweaked it a bit, I am really liking these banners. I'll be doing a Christmas one too. For this fall banner I used the Big Shot and the Two Tags die; the letters were cut using the Go Go Boots Alpahbet medium sizzlits dies. I also embossed two of the tags, one with the Finial Press embossing folder and the other with Vintage Wallpaper folder. The stampset used is French Foilage but I also included a chipboard leaf that was from a retired chipboard set which included leaves and snowflakes. The colors used are Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron and Cajun Craze c/s and Classic inks. I also used Newsprint dsp, Chantilly Crochet Trim and Very Vanilla Book Binding. I hope you can see it enough to enjoy it. Thanks for visiting.

FALL LEAVES

Hello Crafters! Today's card share uses our Wood Sheets (#116309) and the Leaves #2 die with the Big Shot. Once the leaves were die cut I used the cut out sheet as a template and with a sponge dauber and Peach Parfait classic ink sponged the leaf images on the Peach Parfait c/s. The "fall" letters were stamped with Chocolate Chip classic ink using the Jumble Alphabet (#115199) set. Kinda cool I think. The trim is cut using the new Tasteful Trim (#120893) die in the Holiday Mini and the Level One Hostess In-Color paper pack set, I used a sheet of the Peach Parfait design. Happy Thanksgiving was stamped with the Teeny Tiny wishes stamp set; the project was completed using the Color Spritzedr Tool and a Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Marker. Thanks for visiting!

Hello Crafters! Today's share is a fall card using our Newsprint dsp which I LOVE! I know what you're thinking, I love it all! LOL The card is Old Olive c/s layered with Chocolate Chip c/s. I used the French Foilage stampset (#120845) from the Holiday Mini once again which I stamped on the Newsprint dsp. The images are stamped using Chocolate Chip, Peach Parfait and Old Olive Classic Inks. Then I added Crystal Effects to the large image stamped in Olid Olive, not sure if you can see it clearly but it really gives it an amazing affect. Thanks for visiting!

HOME DECOR PROJECT

Hey Crafters! This project was demonstrated at Convention two years ago, I believe that was the year our Decor Elements line was introduced. From the moment I saw it demonstrated I knew I wanted one for my home to bring out during the Thanksgiving season. Sorry I couldn't get a better picture of it! The frame and leaves were purchased at a discount store, I used Old Olive dsp from the Brights collection for the background. The Decor Element I used is Season of Thanks (#114883). I'm happy with the outcome, maybe I put a few too many leaves but all in all I love it and have it displayed in my entry way right now! Thanks for visiting!

FALL LEAVES

Hi Crafters! It's late and I'm tired but I wanted to post a card I made with the Leaves #2 die and the Big Shot. The brad is from the Holiday Mini...yummy sparkle! Oh, I also used the Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots textured folder to emboss the layer of Soft Suede c/s. Going to bed now, thanks for visiting!

GIFT CARD HOLDER

Hey Crafters! I hope you had a great week-end, I had a great evening on Sunday. Our church held a Harvest Festival for the community with free games, hot dogs, chips and candy...of course! I "manned" the Cake Walk, it was my first time and what fun it was! People get excited to win a whole cake or a dozen cupcakes, I'm going to volunteer for that again next year! Today's project was inspired by one my friend and team member Linda created and by request from one of my customers, Amy Jo. I used the cardboard from Decor Element packages I had received which I first adhered dsp (Deck the Halls from the Holiday Mini) to then put through the Big Shot using the Scallop Square Die. I used the Crop-a-dile to punch the holes through the cardboard then added the silver rings. Can you tell what I used to hold the gift cards? Yes! Those are badge holders that you may use at work or receive at a class or conference as a name badge. I love, love this gift card holder! I added two gift cards for my sample but you could easily stamp a piece of cardstock, pretty it up; then add a personal heartfelt note to your gift card receiver. I made a few extra that I plan on selling at a yardsale/handmade gift boutique I'm attending this Saturday in Goodyear, AZ. If you're in the area I hope you will stop by, email me for details. Thanks for visiting!
