VERY EXCITED

Hey Crafters! Can I share a personal note? I am so excited this evening. Tomorrow my son and his family fly in from Washington! I have visited him four times since he moved to Washington in 2000 and he has been to visit us zero times! I never thought he'd come to visit in Arizona because he does not like heat. Even as a child he was not a fan of hot weather. So I am totally excited and praying for a cold front to move in! LOL! This kid is 36 and you can't believe how much he's complaining about our 110 weather...LOL! Trust me friends, it's going to be an interesting week! Today's card share uses Tempting Turquoise c/s layered with Whisper White c/s. Then I layered dsp from the Bold Brights paper pack. The sentiment is stamped using the Swirls & Curls Verses hostess level 1 stampset from the current summer mini. Even though this set is retiring I'll be hanging on to it, isn't it a cute sentiment? Thanks for visiting!

JUST BELIEVE

Hey Crafters! I am still having trouble posting to Blogger and I've emailed them with no response as yet. So here I am trying again. Today's cards share uses a stampset that is not retiring and is a great set called Just Believe. The card is Not Quite Navy c/s, the dsp is Paisley Petals. Whisper White c/s was cut using the Scallop Circle die and the Big Shot. The sentiment is from the same stampset but can you tell that I used two classic inks; Daffodil Delight and Not Quite Navy? I did the "rock and roll" method to get that look. Sorry it's been so long, thanks for visiting!

A QUICK POST

Hello Crafters! Sorry it's been a while; I was leading crafts for children at our vacation bible school this past week and it kept me extremely busy, as you can imagine. The card is Always Artichoke c/s, the dsp is Paisley Petals (2011/2012 catalog)cut with the Top Note die and the Big Shot. The dsp is layered on Early Espresso c/s also cut with the Top Note Die. Thanks for visiting!

LOVE LETTER DSP

Hey Crafters! Today's card share features the Vintage Vogue stampset that will not be retiring, hallelujah! But it does feature beautiful dsp that is retiring called Love Letter. The card base is Riding Hood Red c/s layered with Very Vanilla c/s; the Love Letter dsp is then added as a third layer and another strip of the dsp was added on the side. The stamped images are on Very Vanilla c/s layered on Basic Black c/s. The images are stamped using Basic Gray and Riding Hood Red classic inks. Do you like the ribbon? It is our 1 1/4" striped grosgrain which I cut down the middle. I like how the edges frayed a bit. Lastly I sprayed the entire card with Champagne Shimmer Paint in a hand sanitizer bottle! Have a great week-end, thanks for visiting!

BAROQUE MOTIF

Hey Crafters! Hope you're having a great week. I have spent the week preparing for VBS crafts, somehow I was "volunteered" to lead the crafts for this event next week! LOL! Today's share is a stampset that is NOT being retired; as I was pulling my retired stamps off my shelf I ran across a few sets I haven't used for a while and this is one. The card is Early Espresso c/s layered with Very Vanilly c/s and Paisley Petals (available next month with new catalog) dsp. The image and sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso classic ink. The chipboard "u" was covered with the same dsp then I sponged the edges with Early Espresso classic ink. You may also be happy to know that the crochet ribbon is not retiring either! Perfect on this card, don't you think? Thanks for visiting!

FOND FAREWELL

Hey Crafters! Well all the trouble I had posting this past week may have been my own fault! It appears the date on my camera was changed and I was not able to upload photos due to that. So I've corrected the problem and hopefully it will work this time. So...the "retired" list is out and before I say good-bye to some of my favorites I am going to make a few projects this month with a few of them. Today's project share is one of my most favorite hostess sets that we've ever offered; Because I Care. I just love it. The card is Crumb Cake c/s layered with Whisper White c/s. The image is stamped with Blushing Bride and Old Olive classic inks. I added a few pearls from the self-adhesive Basic Pearls set. The sentiment is from the same stampset and stamped with Crumb Cake classic ink on Blushing Bride c/s, the ribbon is also Blushing Bride. Thanks for visiting!
