6X6 SCRAPBOOK PAGE

I love 6x6 scrapbooks! The smaller page forces you to eliminate pictures you may otherwise try to cram on a 12x12 page and surprisinly you end up with a great album with some of your best pictures. I used Taken with Teal for this page and embossed the corner with the Elegant Bouquet Textured Folder and the Big Shot. I added the bling from our Eggcellent Egg Kit in the Occasions Mini. TWO STEP BIRD PUNCH

I am so happy that I purchased this punch! These birds are adorable not only on cards but on scrapbook pages and even on 3D items. The punch creates the bird, wing AND the branch the bird is perched on! Too cute! I used Old Olive c/s for the card and layered the bottom with the Sweet Pea dsp; I also punched the bird using scraps from that same dsp. The Two Step bird Punch and Sweet Pea dsp are in the Occasions Mini. I just used some Whisper White c/s scraps for the "window". I've been having fun making several projects with this punch! CIRCLE FLOWER

Hi! What do you think of the flower embellishment on this card? I made it using the Circles #2 Originals Die for the Big Shot. I bent and crumpled the circles to get the look I wanted then used Glue Dots to hold it in place. The dsp is our Welcome Neighbor dsp that can be yours FREE from the Sale-a-Bration mini. This dsp comes in a pad which consists of 72 sheets of 6x6 paper!!! I also used the Good Neighbors stamp set, also FREE in the Sale-a-Bration mini, to stamp the leaf on the Melon Mambo band. The smallest circle was a perfect fit under our Clear Buttons! Thanks for visiting!

TEXTURED BOX #2

Okay so the previous post shows how I created a crate using the Box #2 die for the Big Shot, that one requires two #2 boxes. Here is what the #2 box looks like by itself, isn't it cute? I used our Heavy Window Sheets to create this. After die cutting the box, I embossed it with the Petals a Plenty textured embossing folder from the Holiday Mini. This embossing folder is still available although the Holiday Mini period is over. That item number is 116824 should you like to order one. But isn't this box adorable made with the Window Sheets?? If you decide to do this the heavy sheets work the best and fold easily! Thanks for visiting!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Okay, before I get into my project share just a side note, today is my son's 35th birthday! He lives in Washington and I miss him very much! Happy Birthday son!
Here is a project that I've been dying to make! I FINALLY purchased the Box #2 die for the Big Shot and I just love it! So I wanted to make a little Valentines treat for my 14 year old grandson and I said COOL, I got just the project! During Leadership Donna Johnson made me and her other room-mates one of these and I couldn't wait to use the idea. I used Chocolate Chip c/s to cut 2 boxes using the die and the Big Shot then used Sending Love dsp from the Occasions Mini to decorate it. Of course I filled it with some sweets for him, which really is all he wanted, box be darn! LOL! This is a very easy project. After cutting the 2 boxes you fold on the scored lines but you DO NOT fold the lid, this is the top of your little "crate" or container, whichever word you prefer. Then you put just the bottom of the box together following those scored lines. After decorating inside of the lid you punch ONE with the Large Oval Punch, then you decorate inside the other box lid, put the boxes back to back and punch with the Large Oval Punch DIRECTLY over where you punched the other lid; the reason for this is our punches do not go through 2 pieces of c/s PLUS, it lines the handles up PERFECTLY!! WINDOW SHEETS

Hi! Here's a fun card I'd like to share. Not sure if you can tell but the flower image is stamped on our Medium Window Sheets (#114323)! I stamped the image using black Staz-On then colored them in using Classic Ink and a Blender Pen. It is so easy to do and gives your project a little sump'n sump'n! The card base is Celery Green c/s and I used Tea Party dsp. I also added a strip of Pretty in Pink c/s that I punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch from the Sale-a-Bration mini catalog and Oh yeah, the flower stamp and the sentiment are both also from the SAB mini. The flower is from the set called Happy Moments and the sentiment from Whimsical Words. All three of these items can be yours FREE with a $50 order, contact me for more information. Under the Window Sheet I placed a die cut leaf that I cut using our Stampin' Up! Little Leaves Sizzlits Die that I cut with the Big Shot of course. Thanks for visiting!

FELT FLOWERS

This is a thank you card I made for another demonstrator. I used the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt flowers and Sweet Pea dsp both from the Occasions Mini. Oh, the Chocolate Chip satin ribbon is ALSO from the Occasions Mini; and I used Chocolate Chip c/s for the card. I used the 1 3/8's circle punch on the card front then placed the felt flower IN the card to be seen from the front when closed, then I adhered the felt leaf to the card front. Those Sweet Pea Felt Flowers are adorable on all types of projects, scrapbooking and home decor included, please visit my Stampin' Up! website to view and/or purchase. Thanks for visiting!

SIMPLY ADORNED

I am so excited! I finally received my Simply Adorned 1.25x1.0 charm and 24" chain and couldn't WAIT to create inserts for the charm. I am posting one here but others will be posted later as I've already created three that I like a lot. I have to tell you, this charm is gorgeous! The glass is beveled which allows you to adhere small items like rinestones, pearls, etc to give the insert a special look. On this one I stamped a butterfly but then added one that was created with our Beautiful Wings embosslits die and then I added a self-adhesive rinestone from our Eggcellent Eggs kit. All of these items; the charm/chain, Eggcellent Eggs kit, Beautiful Wings embosslits die can be found in the Occasions mini. Is anyone in your family getting married? Imagine how much fun it would be to purchase one of these chains and charms for each brides maid and then have a CHICKS AND CHOCOLATE party and let them design then create their own inserts? Wouldn't that be a blast? Please contact me if you'd like an Occasions Mini catalog. The first picture below is of the back of the charm. Thanks for visiting!

I ~Heart~ Hearts

Do you know how every now and then you sit down to create something; card or scrapbook page perhaps, and you have this layout in your head and you start putting the thoughts in your head down on paper? And then every now and then this project turns out prettier than the thought in your head? Well, that's how I feel about this card. I had this idea for a couple of days, finally sketched it out then put it to paper. I will just say that I was so pleased with how this turned out and in fact thought it WAY BETTER than what I had designed in my mind! I used the I Heart Hearts stamp set from the Occasions Mini and Sending Love dsp, also from the Occasions, there is a layer on the outside and INSIDE of the card. The card base c/s is Pretty in Pink and Old Olive c/s is added as a layer. Punches made with the new mini heart punch and Chocolate Chip satin ribbon added both also from the Occasions.
