BLUSHING BRIDE

Hey Crafters! Today's card is simple but fun to create. The card base is Whisper White c/s which I layered with 1" strips of Blushing Bride dsp. This dsp is a Level One Hostess gift which is a Paper Pack of 60 sheets of dsp, gorgeous! The ribbon is also Blushing Bride Stitched Poly ribbon. I used Blushing Bride c/s to punch the scallop circle which is layered with 1 3/8" circle punch of Pear Pizzaz c/s and that is layered with 1 1/4" circle punch of Whisper White. The sentiment was stamped using the Elements of Style stampset and Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzaz Stampin' Write Markers. I definitely see myself using this layout for other cards; i.e., Easter and birthdays. Thanks for visiting!

STOCKING STUFFERS

Hi Crafters! Today's share is an idea from the #1 Demonstrator of the year, Kimberly VanDiepen. Her idea used hand sanitizer which I changed to an item I knew my 10 year old grand daughter would love, nail polish! The c/s is 2 x 11 inches, the scoring will depend on the size of your nail polish or hand sanitizer. It took me about 30 minutes to nail down the scoring for the nail polish I purchased. If you want to email me personally I can give you the dimenstions I used for this particular project. Thanks for visiting!

ANOTHER CHRISTMAS CARD

Hi Crafters! Three days until Christmas so I'm going to finish the week posting Christmas projects even though I've been in my stamp room creating birthday and Valentine projects! lol! This was a fun card to create and I got the idea for the ruffle from a Stampin' Up! project video posted on our demonstrator website. The card base is Always Artichoke, I used the Bells & Boughs stampset and Deck the Halls dsp from the Holiday Mini. I punched a 1 3/4" whole in the card then used Very Vanilla Seam Binding to create the ruffle by applying Sticky Strip around the "back" of the punched circle the gathering and sticking the seam binding. The sentiment is from the Come to Bethlehem stampset that I stamped on Very Vanilla c/s then placed behind the punched opening. I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card but I also used dsp to cover the piece of Very Vanilla c/s on the inside of the card which I cut to cover the entire left inside of the card. Thanks for visiting!

GIFT CARD HOLDER

Hi Crafters! Today's project share is a project I found on a couple of different SUp! Demonstrator blogs; two of which were Dawn Griffin and a Julie, not sure of her last name. Here is my version. I love these gift card holders and plan on making many more as diffent events occur. This holder was made with Soft Suede c/s for the outside and Very Vanilla c/s for the inside. I used the Bells and Boughs stampset from the Holiday Mini first stamping the outside of the card holder in Soft Suede Classic Ink, but also stamping the Twill Tape Ribbon with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink which I hope you can see because it came out quite nice actually. Thanks for visiting!

CHRISTMAS BIRD PUNCH

Hey Crafters! Today's share is a card that used Candy Cane Christmas dsp from the Holiday Mini unfortunately it is sold out; sorry but I wanted to share the project. The card is Real Red c/s layered with Whisper White c/s and the Candy Cane dsp. I used Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon which I layered with Clear Tinsel Trim also from the Holiday Mini. I punched the bird with Real Red c/s and the Two Step Bird Punch. I attempted to make the bird match the birds on the dsp with Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker and White Gel pen. I was happy with the bird but thought the tinsel really added a little sump'n sump'n! Thanks for visiting.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEA

Hi Crafters! Today I'd like to share a fun gift idea that you can personalize and have fun doing it. Stampin' Up!'s Simply Adorned product line is one I adore. I love that with one charm and chain I can have hundred's of different looks, all I have to do is create them! How fun is that? My charm is the 1" x 1 1/4" which is a great size for me. Here are two inserts I made to wear during December. I used the Tags Till Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Mini for both of these inserts. I also used the Basic Pearls in each, I added Dazzling Diamonds to the snowman because he needs to sparkle, don't you think? Thanks for visiting!

TWO TAGS

Hi Crafters! This is an easy project and one I use for gift tags. This is a picture of ones my class will create this Saturday. I used the Two Tags die and the Big Shot. I can't wait to use this die for Valentine tags and Easter tags, etc. Thanks for visiting.

GIFT BAG

Hi Crafters! Today's share is a gift bag with a tag and matching tissue paper. I love creating my own gift bags! Talk about a cost effective way to package gifts! I bought the kraft gift bags at a discount store along with the tissue paper. I stamped the front of the bag with the snowflakes from the Northern Hearts stamp set which is a Level 1 Hostess set in the Holiday Mini, I used Crumb Cake classic ink. I then stamped plain white tissue paper using the same snowflake images and Crumb Cake classic ink. The tag is Always Artichoke c/s which is stamped with the same snowflake images but this time with Always Artichoke classic ink; I also used scraps of Newsprint and Deck the Halls dsp plus a small piece of Very Vanilla Seam Binding from the Holliday Mini. It may be hard to see but I spritzed the gift bag with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz spray. Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Thank You

Hello Crafters! Well, I believe I finally finished all of my Christmas cards I plan on mailing out that means this week-end I'll be addressing envelopes. I also have a class on 12/18 and one of my friends and class attendee asked if I would design a "thank you" card for them to create. I'm sorry to say I wouldn't have thought of that so I did design one and hope the class likes it. The card is Cherry Cobbler c/s layered with Very Vanilla c/s then dsp from Deck the Halls dsp in the Holiday Mini, the band of dsp is from that same dsp pack. The punch used is our new Decorative Label punch. Simple but sweet huh? Thanks for visiting.

FUN WITH FABRIC

Hello Crafters! The Holiday Mini was released with loads of fun new products one of which is our new fabric line. I really love this fabric but problem for me, I can't sew but I wanted to use some fabric on a project but how can a non-sewer (is that a word?) use beautiful fabric in a project? By using our Fabric Adhesive Roll (#122194)which I ironed on the back of the Candy Cane Christmas fabric then ran through the Big Shot using the Top Note die, I like it! The card is Real Red c/s which is layered with Whisper White c/s then the fabric Top Note image was added using; now get this...the Heat Gun! So simple, so fun and so attractive. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Season stampset, a Hostess Level 2 stampset. Do you like the ribbon? It's a peace of material from the same fabric set. Lastly I added a big designer button from the Candy Cane button set. If you haven't used fabric in your paper crafting I hope you will try it! Thanks for visiting!

DASHER

Hello Crafters! Today's card share uses one of my most favorite stamps, notice I said "stamp" and not stampset? That's because Dasher is sold as a single stamp in our a la Carte selection of stamps, which are single stamps that can be purchased rather than an entire set. Dasher (#116816) sales for $8.95, you can find him in the 2010 Idea Book and Catalog. The card is Riding Hood Red c/s layered with Very Vanilla c/s which I ran 1/2 through the Big Shot using the Finial Press embossing folder. I stamped Dasher in Riding Hood Red classic ink and stamped him directly on our Newsprint dsp. The ribbon is retired Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain but you can purchase Real Red striped grosgrain and change out the c/s for Real Red and get the same look. The button is available through the Holiday Mini, Deck the Halls Big Designer Buttons which I altered by adding Basic Pearls to the center of. The sentiment is from the Come to Bethlehem stampset. Not all my Christmas cards will be this elaborte but I do so enjoy making extra special Christmas cards for extra special people on my list. Thanks for visiting!
