Hello Crafters! I am sad to say goodbye to this stamp set! I love this set and used it quite a bit while it was out. August 31st is the last day to order this set, if you want to order it please email me. This card is made with Melon Mambo textured c/s layered with Certainly Celery and Whisper White c/s. I "stamped off" before stamping the image on the Whisper White c/s then punched with the Eyelet Border punch before adding the Certainly Celery Satin ribbon. Thanks for visiting!

Helly Crafters! I was going for a vintage look with this card and didn't seem to be able to stop tearing! You can see that, huh? I guess I got a little carried away, lol! The card is Cherry Cobbler c/s layered with some really torn Very Vanilla c/s. This is layered with Love Letter dsp that was stamped with Artistic Etchings stamp set using Cherry Cobbler classic ink; the edges are sponged with Basic Black classic ink. The ribbon is Basic Black 5/8" Grosgrain. The brad is from the new Antique Brads; I used a piece of the Newsprint dsp to make the tag. Hello was stamped using the Tiny Tags stamp set using Cherry Cobbler classic ink. I'm still smiling about that tearing frenzy I went on with this card! Thanks for visiting!

Hello Crafters! I haven't played with this stamp set for a little while so I got it out this past week. The set is Elements of Style (#118611), very pretty! The c/s is Marina Mist, the Whisper White c/s was diecut with the Top Note die and the Big Shot. The stamped image was colored in with Marina Mist and Pear Pizzazz SUp! Markers. The sentiment was stamped with the Oval All (#113790) stamp set and colored in with the same markers; then punched with the Large Oval punch which was layered on top of Marina Mist c/s punch with the Scallop Oval punch. Whisper White Organza and Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon was added as the final touch. Thanks for visiting!

Hello Crafters! I previously posted about finding that little ProvoCraft sewing machine and I got it out to give it another try. Mind you it's no where NEAR perfect but I was pretty excited about the results and my somewhat straight lines! LOL! The c/s used is Peach Parfait for the card and Certain Celery for the layer I sewed on. The stamp set is Hello Again (#113780), the sentiment is from the same stamp set. Finally I added Dazzling Diamonds for a little sparkle and my second attempt at adding sewing to a project is done. Thanks for visiting!

Hey Crafters! I just returned from a team meeting in Williams, AZ where we had great fun stampin', meet'n and eat'n...major fun! Anyway I missed a couple of days to post so here's my late card share. This is a Top Note made with the Island Oasis dsp from the Summer mini; I did one previously but this time I tore the dsp into squares, adhered it to Whisper White cardstock then ran it through the Big Shot, I really like the torn look, I think it has the feeling of an old quilt. The card is Tempting Turquoise c/s, the background is stamped with the Tropical Party stampset (Summer Mini) with VersaMark. The palm tree is stamped from the same stampset and with Old Olive classic ink then layered on Old Olive c/s. The flower is from the Pretties Kit colored with Tempting Turquoise ink. Thanks for visiting!

Hey Crafters! Today's card share is a simple but attractive design. The Regal Rose cardstock is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (#117335). The butterflies are die cut from the Beautiful Butterflies bigz die (#114507), the large is vellum and the smaller one is Whisper White c/s. I added Basic Rhinestones (#119246) down the middle of the butterflies and not sure if you can tell but I also spritzed the butterflies only with Silver Foil (#118771) Smooch Spritz. The ribbon is retired but I have a new roll that I need to use up and WOW it looks great on the card, right? Thanks for visiting!

Hey Crafters! This past week-end I was pulling out retired stamps, ink pads, cardstock, etc. and ran across this little item. I bought it over two years ago but get this, I could never get it to work. First and foremost I can't sew; not a lick...should I say stitch? I tore cardstock with it, didn't know how to keep the project I was sewing on was such a hassle I packed this little guy up. Sewing on projects is nothing new, it's just new to me because I couldn't figure it out!! So I thought okay, before I throw this away or put it in a garage sale I'm going to give it one more shot, and so I did. I could really use lessons but this project came out better than I expected. It may be hard to tell but I sewed the Victoria (#118481) crochet trim on the Soft Suede c/s then I added a brad from the new Antique Brads (#117273). Pink Pirouette was used for the card and the bird image was stamped with Soft Suede classic ink from the Level One Hostess set Punch Potpourri (#118394) and then punched it with the Extra Large Two Step Bird punch (#117191), the branch is from the same punch. The sentiment is from the Razzle Dazzle (#116714) stamp set. Oh, and the ribbon is retired but it is Pink Pirouette. I have a couple of more projects I attempted the sewing technique on and let me just say that although I like the look, I need lessons or will have to google "beginners sewing" to really be successful at this. lol! Or perhaps a better craft-type sewing maching? Thanks for visiting!

Hello Crafters! What can I say about this card? I mean I love the stamp set, I love that River Rock is back and I adore the new self-adhesive pearls rock! As the title indicates the stamp set used here is Friends 24/7 (#113218). The cardstock is textured River Rock, Pink Pirouette c/s is layered under the stamped bird image. The image was stamped with River Rock, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso and Old Olive (the last two on the branch). The River Rock c/s was "wheeled" with the Friendly Words wheel (#114696)and Early Espresso ink. The River Rock ribbon is retired but as you can see just works with this card so had to be used. Thanks for visiting!

Hello Crafters! I am SO into stamping vintage right now, LOVE IT! So when I saw this layout in the current catalog I knew I had to recreate it; well, somewhat. It's on page 124 of the catalog. On the card I created below Basic Black c/s is used for the card then the lower half of the card was embossed with the new Vintage Wallpaper (#120175) embossing folder. The dsp is Newsprint (#117166) and Love Letter (#117162). I tore square pieces in approximate 1x1" squares, well I attempted to tear it in that size lol. The hearts were stamped with Level 1 Hostess set Punch Potpourri (#118394) which was stamped in Basic Black and Riding Hood Red classic ink then punched with the Extra Large Heart punch. I then spritzed the card with Silver Foil Smooch Spritz. I was very pleased with the outcome. One of the great features of the catalog is the creative ideas right at your finger tips; they inspire me to create, I hope I've inspired you! Thanks for visiting!

Hello Crafters! Thought I'd share a scrapbook page that is one of the projects for my August Sunrise & Stamps class. The background is Basic Gray c/s and layered with Blushing Bride c/s and Blushing Bride dsp. The stamp set used is Artistic Etchings(#118517) which I used to add background on the Basic Gray c/s by stamping with Basic Gray classic ink; I also dug out my Shimmer Paint for this one and applied a little of the Platinum (#116807) on the tips of the crown...I forgot how much fun it was to use the Shimmer Paint and how it added that little something to your project. Thanks for visiting!
