BRIDAL SHOWER INVITATIONS

I got back from Leadership and Regionals late Saturday and started working right away on these invitations for my niece in Nashville. Before I post them, I had a most wonderful time at Leadership and learned some useful business and creative tools. I can't wait to put them in action! But my friend Anita, in Sacramento, wanted to see these invitations so here they are. My niece, Mandy, wanted them pink and black. I used our Melon Mambo c/s and the coordinating (okay, one of my favorite things about SUp! everything COORDINATES!) polka-dot ribbon. For the top of the purse I used the Night and Day dsp from the Holiday Mini (no longer available, SORRY). I used the Top Note die with the Big Shot to cut all. My husband even helped with the card base once I showed him how to line it up to create the card! The heart "clasp" was made with our Melon Mambo c/s also, I used our new small heart punch to punch the heart out. I hope my niece loves them as much as I do. Can you see the "sparkly" effect on the cards? Okay, this was a cool technique that a lot of other demonstrators have discovered. You add some of our Shimmer paint into a couple of ounces of alcohol in a spray bottle. Skake, then spray and a BEAUTIFUL effect is added to your project! It's subtle but noticable, just the right effect. I used Champagne Mist (#116806), my FAV! These were in the Holiday Mini but Stampin' Up! has decided to make them available after the catalog period! Lucky me and YOU! Thanks for visiting.

Hi I love these. I am going to use it as a bridal shower card for this weekend. Is the top note across the top taped to the top to the bottom top notes? Or are the bottom top notes glued together some how? I other words How did you do it? Thank you so much, Julie
