3 of 4 Razzle Chic

Well here is the 3rd item for this Saturday's Razzle Chic project class. This is a plaque; it is made using our small On-Board chip board and of course the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and the Autumn Harvest rub-ons. These plaques are super easy to make! I can't wait to make a Christmas version! Thanks for visiting.

RAZZLE CHIC CANDLE

Here is the 2nd project we'll be completing on 8/29. I've used a 3" pillar candle and the same DSP and rub-ons as on the mason jar vase below. Isn't it cute? I have 2 more projects to show later this week that we'll be making during the same class. Can't you just imagine using different DSP to change these projects to Christmas gifts? I think I'll try that and then post my holiday versions of these same projects in October. Thanks for visiting!

RAZZLE CHIC

Today I spent some time in my stamp room preparing projects for my last August class. I love being in my stamp room seeing pictures of projects I have in my head coming alive in front of me! They don't ALWAYS come out right the first time, but every creative step is pure happiness for me! Is that silly?
This week I'm going to post each of the projects we'll be creating on the 29th. These 4 projects will use the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Autumn Harvest rub-ons. It was a lot of fun creating them and I know my class will also love putting them together. The first project I'm posting is the mason jar vase. Although the class is closed, you can still order the project kit which includes a full package of rub-ons and all of the 3D items, paper, ribbon products you will need for each project including complete step by step instructions. Just leave me a comment here if you're interested and I'll contact you by e-mail or e-mail me directly. Thanks for visiting.

FRIENDS 24-7

This card is made with our Friends 24-7 stamp set. You can find it in the new catalog on page 100. I used Close to Cocoa and Bordering Blue cardstock. I used the Friendly Words wheel on the card background. I am blessed to have many friends that I can count on 24-7 but more importantly, they can count on ME 24-7! Thanks for visiting!

BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE

The title I used here is from a 1972 movie with Goldie Hawn, the title just popped into my head when I began posting this. It was a sweet movie and as I recall one of Goldie's first when she used to gigle a lot and act flighty! I made this card using Rich Razzleberry c/s and our new Cottage Wall dsp, I LOVE this dsp! I punched the butterflies out of vellum with our new butterfly punch. Thanks for visiting!

HOME SWEET HOME

I had an awesome week at Convention but it is wonderful to be home! I have unpacked, did laundry and now relaxing and updating my blog. I want to go in to my Stamp Room to create...so why am I still in front of my laptop? LOL! I can't tell you how energizing these conventions are; the business training, the fun, the product training, the fun, the project ideas...THE FUN! Is it a wonder I'm exhausted?? LOL!!
I am posting a couple of pictures of projects I completed at Stamp Camp. This is a camp put on each year by a couple of great ladies from New York that is loads of fun. They prepare 10 projects...can you imagine that?! Preparing all of those projects for 40-50 ladies and then getting it ALL to Salt Lake City from the Big Apple??? WOW! The first project is a recipe book...how cute is that?

And I love, love this card! Folded it fit's in our medium envelope but opened it's a piece of art!

FIRST DAY OF COVENTION

I am here and OH MY GOODNESS! My first night here we room-mates exchanged gifts...here's a picture of all of my goodies! Thank you Jennifer, Lois, Nancy, Donna and my new friend Carrie!
What a day we had today, it was non-stop since 7:30am! First up was our Convention Bag...THANK YOU STAMPIN' UP! I like this tote A LOT...here's a picture of it with all of the goodies we received! Then we headed off to Momento Mall and YES there were lines, lines, and more lines! We stood in line for THREE HOURS!
But it was great fun meeting new ladies and having a great time chit-chatting and for those of you that know me, you know that I can chit and chat with the best of them!! LOL!
Here I am with Jennifer, Donna, Lois and Carrie standing at the end of the 3 hour line!
Unfortunately because we stood in line so long we were late for a Stamp Class that we signed up for so after the mall we ran to the class and had to forego lunch. After lunch we went back to the Convention Center to take pictures of projects then Jennifer and I headed over to the Lion Pantry for more stamping fun and CUPCAKES...CUPCAKE GOOD!! The perfect end to a perfect day!
Now we're back at the house preparing our stamps for tomorrow's classes! WHEW! Have you ever been tired and happy at the same time?! More later!

TWO IDEAS...ONE CARD

This card was inspired by two separate events. A couple of weeks ago while in the doctor's office I noticed a new decorative room divider screen. It had 3 panels and was made out of beautiful dark brown wood with a layer of orange material on each of the 3 panels and another layer of green on top of the orange. There were birds, trees and plants painted in gold on each of the 3 green panels. I filed that look away. Today while rummaging through some of my favorite cards, do you hold on to beautiful cards you've created or received? Any-HOO, I found the first card I received from my team leader, Jennifer when I became a demonstrator in 2007. I remember how much I loved that card! In fact the first stamp set I purchased was Bodacious Boquet and the first ink pads I purchased after receiving my kit were the 3 colors she used in her card; Perfect Plum, Pale Plum, and Mellow Moss. Well, I looked at this card, remembered the room screen in the doctor's office...decided to use our Cheep Talk stamp set plus the Perfect and Pale Plum colors. I'm happy with how it came out. Look around you...INSPIRATION IS EVERYWHERE!
