Hi Crafters! I meant to log on earlier to post, sorry. I really wanted to share this project before April 30th. The dsp is Botanical Gazette in the Occasions Mini. The 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 card is Early Espresso c/s layered with Very Vanilla c/s. I punched nine different sides of the dsp with the Curly Label punch before adhering to the Very Vanilla c/s. I added a few elements like buttons, brads and a flower punched with the Boho Blossoms punch using Early Espresso c/s. Thanks for visiting!

BOTANICAL GAZETTE
Hey Crafters! Okay, as promised more of the "good-bye" dsp from the Occasions Mini. Good-bye because it will no longer be available after April 30th. Here's another no-stamp card; this beautiful dsp IS the card! No really! Okay so the dsp is called Botanical Gazette and it's just too lovely for words! I also added a little embossed image by using the Framed Tulips embossing folder, but I just used a strip of it, see that Chocolate Chip strip that separates the two different pieces of dsp? Just a different way to use the embossing folders to add some texture to your projects. Okay, thanks for visiting!

SIMPLE SWEET STITCHES
Hello Crafters! Today's share is another card using dsp from the Occasions Mini called Sweet Stitches. The card is Whisper White c/s with a strip of the dsp, I also used a one inch strip of the same dsp to create the folded flower (not sure what it's really called). I just used my bone folder and my grid sheet (#102787)to score at 1/4" increments then folded back and forth. I did use a glue-gun in the middle of the flower hold it together. The sentiment was stamped using Teeny Tiny Wishes, and I used the Sneek Peak product the Four Frames stampset with the Decorative Label Punch. On the Four Frames stamp image I used the Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Write Marker so I could just get the outline as this particular stamp also has a bird on it which I chose not to use. Thanks for visiting!

LAST CHANCE DSP
Hey Crafters! As some of my favorite dsp in the current Occasions Mini will only be available through 4/30 I decided to use some of it up, I mean it's so pretty so why not use it? This card is sweet and simple, with the focus being on the dsp. The card is Old Olive c/s layered with Nature Walk dsp. Doesn't it look like the flowers were stamped on the dsp? Not so, that is the design of this pretty paper! The Scallop rectangle die was used to die cut a piece of Old Olive c/s that is layered with Very Vanilla c/s; the sentiment is stamped with Because I Care Level 1 Hostess set and Early Espresso classic ink. I have a couple of more projects that I can't wait to share and will do so soon. Thanks for visiting!

PAISLEY PETALS DSP
Hey Crafters! I hope you've had a great week-end; as for me I had a fun class yesterday but woke this morning with my allergies acting up and a headache. Thank God I was better by noon and was able to get my chores AND some stamping done! Yay me! My share today uses the sneak peek dsp that will be in the 2011/2012 Idea Book & Catalog, Paisley Petals. I used both sides of one of the sheets of dsp in the pack. The card is Night of Navy c/s layered with Whisper White c/s then the dsp. The stampset is Clearly For You in the Occasions Mini. I did not add a sentiment yet knowing that I can use this one for almost any occasion and can add when when needed. Have a great week and thanks for visiting!

MORE NATURE
Hey Crafters! I hope you're having a great week! I have been busy each evening prepping for this Saturday's class. The project share today is actually a card we're creating at this class. Mind if I gush about an "old" product that I've just discovered and LOVE, LOVE? It is our Naturals Ivory c/s! As I said not new to Stampin' Up! but I just discovered how beautiful it is and will be using it LOTS! This project uses the Naturals Ivory c/s as a layer and also the bird image was stamped on it. The stampset is Nature Walk from the Occasions Mini and the dsp is Botanical Gazette from the same mini. I'll be sad to say good-bye to these two products on April 30th. Inks used are Early Espresso and Old Olive classic inks, the ribbon is Early Espresso satin. I also sprayed the both the bird image and the cut out birdcage with Champagne Mist shimmer paint/alcohol mix. I think my class will enjoy creating this don't you? Thanks for visiting!

TEAM PROJECT
Hello Crafters! Today's share is a project my "upline" shared with us at a team meeting up in Williams earlier this month. The card is Crumb Cake c/s layered with Early Espresso and Very Vanilla c/s; plus Newsprint dsp. The stampset used is Easter Blossoms from the Occasions Mini, both the image and sentiment came from the same set. I really love this little girl image and hope there will be something very similar in the 2011/2012 Idea Book and Catalog being released in July of this year. If you like this little girl she is available for order through April 30th. So happy you stopped by, thanks for visiting!

SWEET STITCHES
Hello Crafters! Today's project share uses the Sweet Stitches dsp in the Occasions Mini. The card is Very Vanilla c/s, it may be hard to see but I stamped the c/s with VersaMark and the Button, Button stampset also in the Occasions Mini. The tiny "buttons" were made with the Sweet Buttons embosslit and the Big Shot. The sentiment is from the Sweetheart stampset in the current Idea Book & Catalog. I punched it out with 1 1/4" punch then adhered it to Melon Mambo c/s punched with Curley Label punch. Thanks for visiting!

PAISLEY PETALS
Hey Crafters! Every now and then I have a project turn out even better than I had in my mind; today's share is one of those. The card is Peach Parfait c/s the dsp is from the Paisley Petals dsp that will be in the 2011/2012 Idea Book and Catalog (see the posting below). The dsp is used down the side and within the scallop square that was cut using the Big Shot and the Scallop Square duo die. Not super fancy but kinda sweet and springy, don't you think? Thanks for visiting!
