FAREWELL WATER COLOR TRIO
Hello Crafters! I am sad to say goodbye to this stamp set! I love this set and used it quite a bit while it was out. August 31st is the last day to order this set, if you want to order it please email me. This card is made with Melon Mambo textured c/s layered with Certainly Celery and Whisper White c/s. I "stamped off" before stamping the image on the Whisper White c/s then punched with the Eyelet Border punch before adding the Certainly Celery Satin ribbon. Thanks for visiting!

VINTAGE CHERRY COBBLER
Helly Crafters! I was going for a vintage look with this card and didn't seem to be able to stop tearing! You can see that, huh? I guess I got a little carried away, lol! The card is Cherry Cobbler c/s layered with some really torn Very Vanilla c/s. This is layered with Love Letter dsp that was stamped with Artistic Etchings stamp set using Cherry Cobbler classic ink; the edges are sponged with Basic Black classic ink. The ribbon is Basic Black 5/8" Grosgrain. The brad is from the new Antique Brads; I used a piece of the Newsprint dsp to make the tag. Hello was stamped using the Tiny Tags stamp set using Cherry Cobbler classic ink. I'm still smiling about that tearing frenzy I went on with this card! Thanks for visiting!

ELEMENTS OF STYLE IN BLUE
Hello Crafters! I haven't played with this stamp set for a little while so I got it out this past week. The set is Elements of Style (#118611), very pretty! The c/s is Marina Mist, the Whisper White c/s was diecut with the Top Note die and the Big Shot. The stamped image was colored in with Marina Mist and Pear Pizzazz SUp! Markers. The sentiment was stamped with the Oval All (#113790) stamp set and colored in with the same markers; then punched with the Large Oval punch which was layered on top of Marina Mist c/s punch with the Scallop Oval punch. Whisper White Organza and Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon was added as the final touch. Thanks for visiting!

ANOTHER TRY AT SEWING
Hello Crafters! I previously posted about finding that little ProvoCraft sewing machine and I got it out to give it another try. Mind you it's no where NEAR perfect but I was pretty excited about the results and my somewhat straight lines! LOL! The c/s used is Peach Parfait for the card and Certain Celery for the layer I sewed on. The stamp set is Hello Again (#113780), the sentiment is from the same stamp set. Finally I added Dazzling Diamonds for a little sparkle and my second attempt at adding sewing to a project is done. Thanks for visiting!

QUILTED TOP NOTE
Hey Crafters! I just returned from a team meeting in Williams, AZ where we had great fun stampin', meet'n and eat'n...major fun! Anyway I missed a couple of days to post so here's my late card share. This is a Top Note made with the Island Oasis dsp from the Summer mini; I did one previously but this time I tore the dsp into squares, adhered it to Whisper White cardstock then ran it through the Big Shot, I really like the torn look, I think it has the feeling of an old quilt. The card is Tempting Turquoise c/s, the background is stamped with the Tropical Party stampset (Summer Mini) with VersaMark. The palm tree is stamped from the same stampset and with Old Olive classic ink then layered on Old Olive c/s. The flower is from the Pretties Kit colored with Tempting Turquoise ink. Thanks for visiting!

VELLUM BUTTERFLY
Hey Crafters! Today's card share is a simple but attractive design. The Regal Rose cardstock is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (#117335). The butterflies are die cut from the Beautiful Butterflies bigz die (#114507), the large is vellum and the smaller one is Whisper White c/s. I added Basic Rhinestones (#119246) down the middle of the butterflies and not sure if you can tell but I also spritzed the butterflies only with Silver Foil (#118771) Smooch Spritz. The ribbon is retired but I have a new roll that I need to use up and WOW it looks great on the card, right? Thanks for visiting!

NEEDLE AND THREAD
Hey Crafters! This past week-end I was pulling out retired stamps, ink pads, cardstock, etc. and ran across this little item.
I bought it over two years ago but get this, I could never get it to work. First and foremost I can't sew; not a lick...should I say stitch? I tore cardstock with it, didn't know how to keep the project I was sewing on straight...it was such a hassle I packed this little guy up. Sewing on projects is nothing new, it's just new to me because I couldn't figure it out!! So I thought okay, before I throw this away or put it in a garage sale I'm going to give it one more shot, and so I did. I could really use lessons but this project came out better than I expected. It may be hard to tell but I sewed the Victoria (#118481) crochet trim on the Soft Suede c/s then I added a brad from the new Antique Brads (#117273). Pink Pirouette was used for the card and the bird image was stamped with Soft Suede classic ink from the Level One Hostess set Punch Potpourri (#118394) and then punched it with the Extra Large Two Step Bird punch (#117191), the branch is from the same punch. The sentiment is from the Razzle Dazzle (#116714) stamp set. Oh, and the ribbon is retired but it is Pink Pirouette. I have a couple of more projects I attempted the sewing technique on and let me just say that although I like the look, I need lessons or will have to google "beginners sewing" to really be successful at this. lol! Or perhaps a better craft-type sewing maching? Thanks for visiting!
