JINGLE BELL TREAT CUP

So you saw in my previous post I used red "jingle bells" on my frame...I wanted to make a card for a friend in California using the treat cups so came up with this idea. It is so cool to hear the bells "jingling" in the envelope!! I bet when she receives it she will wonder what the HECK her friend is sending her!! LOL! I used Real Red c/s and Merry Moments dsp. The ribbon is from the Holiday Mini, it's called Sleigh Bells. I used mini jingle bells inside the treat cup, just 3. Thanks for visiting.

GIFT IDEA

I bought several of these frames, as you can see from a couple of previous postings where I used them. They were cost effective and are perfect for converting to cute gift ideas. I used our Christmas Cocoa dsp from the Holiday Mini for the background then used Whisper White c/s and the Big Shot Top Notz die to create a layer on top of the dsp. I closed the frame and added the Jingle All The Way decor element on the frame glass. I then added some ribbon from our Holiday Mini and had a couple of red bells laying around...I mean I HAD to use them!! Thanks for visiting!

CIRCLE SCISSOR PLUS

Today I received my new Circle Scissor Plus cutter I ordered from Stampin' Up and I just had to test it out. I love this cutter! It is so easy to use, I was quite surprised by that. Hint, if you use a small piece of paper to cut use a little adhesive to adhere to your glass cutting mat, then cut away! You can cut or draw circles...on this card I punched the sentiment out with our 1 3/4 punch and then used the Circle Plus to cut the piece of Real Red c/s to add accent to the sentiment. The card base is Soft Suede and the dsp is Christmas Cocoa from our Holiday Mini; gorgeous paper as I posted previously! The snowflake images at the bottom of the dsp are flocked! Thanks for visiting!

SOFT SUEDE TREES

I wanted to create a Christmas card using our in-color Soft Suede today and this is the card I came up with. I used our Lovely as a Tree stamp set and white embossing powder to emboss on Soft Suede c/s; I also used our Christmas Cocoa dsp from the Holiday Mini, if you haven't ordered this yet, you MUST, it is BEAUTIFUL! I then topped it off with our Soft Suede polka-dot ribbon. Thanks for visiting!

FIRST ATTEMPT AT TREAT CUP

I bought these Treat Cups (Holiday Mini #116802) a couple of weeks ago but could not come up with an idea to use them. Today I was preparing for a Home Boutique show I'm participating in tomorrow and WHAM, I got an idea and designed this card. Confession time...I had to throw away the first Treat Cup I used! When I added the "snow" some of it got on the sticky strip around the cup meaning it couldn't adhere AND snow fell out!! NOTE TO SELF, fill the inside of the cup BEFORE removing sticky strip covering!! LOL! The c/s is Sahara Sand, the dsp is Holiday Lounge. The stamp set is retired...Merry & Bright, I love that set and decided to use it for this. Thanks for visiting!

COLLAGE FRAME

I want to share a project I CASED from Kristin Fuller. Her frame held 8 to 10 cards but I thought I'd start with this small version before jumping full into a huge frame! My plan is to use this as a display and place on my table when I participate in craft fairs so the size is wonderful. But I can also cart it to parties! I will change the cards out by holiday and season...wouldn't that be fun?! All of these cards were made with our Simply Srappin Christmas Jingle but I can't wait to change the cards out with Valentines ones and then cards made using SAB product! This won't be the last time you see this frame!! Thanks for visiting!

CHRISTMAS HOME DECOR PROJECT

This project idea came from Lisa at SULateNight Stampers; THANKS LISA! This plaque is a great gift idea; change it from a Christmas theme to birthday, etc. You can include the ribbon to allow it to be hung or create without the ribbon and display it on a small dish holder/stand. The base is one small On Board Book Basics, I used the Cocoa Speciality dsp from our Holiday Mini. The ribbon is our 3/4" Real Red Grossgrain polka dot. I embossed the strip of Real Red c/s with the Petals a Plenty textured folder also found in the Holiday Mini.

NOVEMBER 30TH I am giving a free gift of 8 1/2 x 11 c/s when you place a $50 order on my Stampin Up website! Order supplies to make your Christmas cards this year OR the plaque above! AND receive one package of your favorite cardstock FREE as a gift from me! Thanks for visiting!
